1. Probationary Officers (PO) : 805 posts, Age : 21-30 years, Pay Scale : Rs.10000-18240, Eligibility: Graduate from a recognized university with 55% Marks aggregate (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates). Basic knowledge of Computer Applications (Certificate recognized Training Institute is required).
2. Agriculture Finance Officers : 400 posts, Age : 21-30 years, Pay Scale : R.10000-18240, Eligibility: A Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Agri. Engineering/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agri Marketing & Co-operation.
   
3. Law Officers : 70 posts in, Age : 21-35 years, Pay Scale : Rs.13820-1992, Eligibility: A Degree in Law (LLB) with not less than 50% Marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates). Additional qualification of Post Graduate Degree in Law (LLM). CAIIB/MBA may be considered in preference to other candidates.
   Experience: 5 years Experience of practice at Bar or Judicial service and/or Law Officer in the Legal Dept. of a reputed Bank or the Central/State Government or of a Public Sector Undertaking with practice at Bar for a minimum period of three years.

State Bank of India (SBI), Corporate Centre, Mumbai invites applications from Indian citizens for appointment in following officers posts in State Bank on Contract basis :

• Marketing & Recovery Officer (Rural) for SBI : 450 posts (UR-227, SC-74, ST-33, OBC-11) in various states on contract basis, Pay : Rs. 2.80 lac p.a. on CTC (Bank) of which 70% will be fixed pay and 30% will be variable pay., Age : 23-32 years. Eligiblity: i) As on 31.07.2009,the Candidate should be a Graduate in Agriculture, Veterinary, Fisheries,
  Dairy, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Pharmacy etc., from a recognized University
  with minimum 70% Marks (65% for SC, ST and PH candidates)
  or
  Graduates in the following streams- BBA, Social Work, Social Welfare, Graduates with
  specialisation in marketing with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC, ST & PH Candidates) or
  MBA with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC, ST & PH Candidates)
  ii) As on 01.04.2009 the candidates should be minimum of 23 years of age and maximum 32
  years (Relaxation in upper age limit to reserved category candidates as per Govt. guidelines).
  iii) Candidates must have fluency (read, write and speak) in the local language of the State
  where he is likely to be posted.
  iv) Candidate should have a valid permanent driving license for 2 wheelers.
  v) Minimum 3 years experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank in the field of marketing of
  agricultural & other loans & recovery of NPA.
  vi) Candidate should be willing to work in the rural areas for a contractual period of 2 years and
  should also be ready to join the job at a short notice. Work involves extensive travelling.
  

• Technical Offiers (Farm Sector) for SBI : 31 posts (UR-16,SC-5, ST-2, OBC-8), Pay : Rs. 3.50 lac p.a. on CTC (Bank), of which 70% will be fixed pay and 30% will be variable pay., Age : 23-32 years. Eligibility Criteria (as on 31.07.2009) Qualification / Post Qualification experience:
  i) Post Graduate from a recognized Institute / University in the disciplines mentioned in the
  above chart with minimum 70% marks (65% for SC, ST and PH candidate)
  ii) As on 01.04.2009, the candidate should be minimum of 23 years age and maximum 32 years
  (Relaxation in upper age limit to reserved category candidates as per Govt. guidelines)
  iii) Candidate must have fluency (read, write and speak) in the local language of the State where
  he is likely to be posted.
  iv) Candidate should have Basic Computer Knowledge.
  v) Minimum 3 years experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank in the field of marketing &
  evaluation of high value proposals related to agricultural & allied agricultural activities,
  preparation & successful implementation of area specific schemes in Agricultural & allied
  activities etc.
  vi) Candidate should be willing to work for a contractual period of 2 years and should also be
  ready to join the job at a short notice.
