Punjab and Sind Bank Invites Applications from Indian Citizens for vacancies in Clerical Cadre (Clerk cum Cashier) for various States/UTs. Details is given as below:

Clerical cum Cashier : Total Post: 250 (SC - 50,ST - 6,OBC - 81, GEN - 113) out of which (OC - 3, VI - 2, HI - 2, DXS/DISXS - 11, EXSM - 25); Scale of Pay: Rs. 4410-13210. (DA, HRA, CCA, Medical, LFC, Pension*, PF, Gratuity etc. will be admissible as per Bank’s rules.)

Eligibility:

Age - Minimum 18 and Maximum 28 years as on 01.01.2010.
Educational Qualification: 

I) 60 % marks (55% in case of SC/ ST/ PC/ EXSM) in aggregate in Higher Secondary examination/ +2 of 10+2+3 pattern OR its equivalent.
OR
Degree in any discipline or its equivalent from a recognized University.

II) Knowledge of Computers: Essential for all category of candidates (i) Proficiency in Windows/MS Office, (ii) Certificate/Diploma in Computer Operations from NIIT, SSI, Aptech, MICE, STQC, CMC etc. OR O/A/B/C level certificate of DOEACC OR BCA OR Computer Science as one of the subjects covering MS
word, Excel, Access etc. in Degree level.

III) Candidates should be able to read, write and speak the language of the State/ UT for which vacancies are advertised and for which he/ she desires to apply.

SC – Scheduled Caste , ST – Scheduled Tribe, OBC – Other Backward Classes , Gen – General Category, OC – Orthopaedically Challenged, HI – Hearing Impaired, VI – Visually Impaired, EXSM – Ex- Servicemen, DXS – Dependent of Ex servicemen killed in Action, DISXS – Disabled Ex Servicemen.

Note: The recruitment would be on State wise basis. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State only and have to appear for the written examination from a Test Centre allotted for that particular State.  They should be willing to be posted in that particular State.

Selection Procedure: Written Test (Objective Tests + Descriptive Paper) & Interview.

Punjab National Bank (PNB) Invites online applications from Indian Citizens for the following 1255 Posts:

1. Clerical Cadre (Post Code: 04) - 1246 Posts & Scale of pay  4410-13210. Age: above 20 years and below 25 years. Graduate in any discipline with 50 % marks OR equivalent qualification and working knowledge of MS office.
2. Officer Architect Scale I (Post Code: 03) - 2 Posts & Scale of pay  10000-18240. Age: Maximum 30 years. B. Arch Degree from a University recognized by Govt. of India and should have membership of Council of Architectue. Minimum One year experience in the field of Architecture.
3. Officer Electrical Engineer Scale I (Post Code: 02) - 3 Posts & Scale of pay  10000-18240. Maximum 30 years. B.E./ B. Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering from a University recognized by Govt. of India. Minimum one year experience in the field of Electrical Engineering.
4. Officer Civil Engineer Scale I (Post Code: 01) - 4 Posts & Scale of pay  10000-18240. Maximum Age 30 years. B.E./B. Tech Degree in Civil Engineering from a University recognized by Govt. of India. Minimum 1 year work experience in the field of Civil Engineering.

Note: The recruitment for the post code 04 i.e. Clerical Cadre would be on State-wise basis. Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification: i) Degree from a recognized University in any field.
ii) One year certificate/ diploma course in Computer from a recognized Institute.

Remuneration:
Rs. 10000/- per month as consolidated amount during the contractual period and conveyance allowance admissible for carrying out field work.
Employees Provident Fund and Leaves, except HPL will also be admissible as per rules of the Corporation in addition to above.

Age: Maximum 35 years. (5 years relax for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC). Management reserves right to relax the upper age for the suitable candidates.

Process of Selection: Skill (typing) Test & Interview

Skill (Typing) Test: Short listed candidates will be called for appearing in skill test.
Interview: Candidates who qualify in the skill test will be called for interview.
