Punjab & Sind Bank (P&SB) invites applications from Indian Citizens for appointment of various officers post. Details are given as under:

1. Probationary Officer Post code 01 - JMG Scale I with pay scale Rs. 10000-18240; posts 500.
2. Technical Officer Civil Engg. code 02 - JMG Scale I with pay scale Rs. 10000-18240; posts 2.
3. Technical Officer Mech. Engg. code 03 - JMG Scale I with pay scale Rs. 10000-18240; posts 2.
4. Technical Officer Elect. Engg. code 04 - JMG Scale I with pay scale Rs. 10000-18240; posts 1.
5. Chartered Accountant code 05 - MMG Scale II with pay scale Rs. 13820-19920 for total posts 25.
6. EDP Officer code 06 - MMG Scale II with pay scale Rs. 13820-19920 for total posts 30.
7. EDP Officer code 07 - MMG Scale III with pay scale Rs. 18240 - 22280 for total posts 5.

DA, HRA/ Leased accommodation, CCA, Medical, LTC, Pension, PF, Gratuity etc will be admissible
as per Bank’s rules.

Eligibility Criteria:
as on 01.01.2010 Min. 21 yrs.
Age: 
Max. 30 Years for JMG Scale I, Max. 32 Years for MMG Scale II, Max. 35 Years for MMG Scale III

Educational Qualification:

•  Probationary Officer: Graduate in any discipline with minimum 55% marks (for SC/ST/ PC – 50%)in aggregate from a University recognised by Government of India. * Computer qualification like diploma in computer operation from NIIT, SSI, Aptech, CMC, DOEACC course / certificate (O/A/B/C) level etc. essential.

Experience: Not required. 

• Technical Officer - Degree in Engineering in the respective field of Civil/Mechanical/Electrical from a University/Institute recognized by Govt. of India.

Experience: Two years desirable but not essential.

• Chartered Accountant: Graduate of any recognized university with a pass in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) .
  

Experience: Fresh CAs, who are likely to complete their degrees up to 30.04.2010, may also apply. Candidates having experience of minimum two years in Banking / Financial Institutions (Specially in Project appraisal / Risk Management/ Treasury / Foreign Exchange/ Merchant Banking etc.) will be preferred.

• EDP Officer MMGS - II - Degree in Engineering in the field of Computer Science/IT or MCA from a University/Institute recognized by Govt. of India.

Experience: Two years in any bank/financial institution in the cadre of JMGS-I. or equivalent. Candidates working on Core Banking Solution (CBS) platform (FINACLE), will be preferred.

• EDP Officer MMGS - III - Degree in Engineering in the field of Computer Science/IT or MCA from a University/Institute recognized by Govt. of India.

Experience: Five years in any bank/financial institution out of which minimum two years should be in MMGS-II or equivalent. Candidates working on Core Banking Solution (CBS) platform (FINACLE), will be preferred.

Note: A candidate should submit only one application for one post, Multiple application for any one post will be summarily rejected and the application fees will be forfeited. Those candidates who want to apply for more than one post, should submit separate application for each post along with fees.

Selection Procedure: Written Test (Objective Test + Descriptive Paper) & Interview.
