IRDA Requires Assistant and Deputy Director

Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) invites Applications for the following posts for candidates belonging to SC/ST only:

1. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: Total Post: 2 (only for STs) Pay Scale: 13700 - 24400. Monthly Emoluments would be Rs. 38641/- including Basic Pay, DA, HRA, CCA and FA. Benefits addition to monthly emoluments will be permissible as per rules governing for Officer Scale.

2. DEPUTY DIRECTOR: Total Post: 2 (only for SCs) Pay Scale: 24875 - 34275. Monthly Emoluments would be Rs. 66249/-  including Basic Pay, DA, HRA, CCA and FA. Benefits addition to monthly emoluments will be permissible as per rules governing for Officer Scale.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Graduation with Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai or equivalent is required for both posts.

• EXPERIENCE:

3 Years of relevant experience in the insurance industry in case of Assistant Director and 10 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry for Deputy Director's post.

• AGE (as on 31st January 2010):

Maximum age for Assistant Director is 40 years and 50 years for Deputy Director.



SELECTION PROCEDURE:

After through examining the applications; candidates may be considered for being called for written test/ interview. Written Examination in relevant area of specialization will be held. Written test will be held at Hyderabad.
