BSNL invites application for the Post of Management Trainee in Telecome Operation and Management Trainee in Telecom Finance. This Advertisement is issued in cancellation of Previous advertisement no.2-2/2008-Rectt issued in November 2008. All the candidates who have applied before are requierd to apply afresh . Details are given below :
a) MTs in Telecome Operation : 250 Posts (OBC-68 , SC-38 , ST-18 , OC-126)
b) MTs in Telecome Finance : 50 Posts (OBC-13 , SC-07 , ST-03 , OC-27)
Total 09 Seats are Reserved for PH candidates
Pay Scale : Rs.13000-350-18250
Age : Should not exceeds 30 years as on 1st August of the year of examination(Age Relaxation as per term)
Qualification : For MTs in Telecome Operations - Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of technology degree or equivalent Engineering degree in Telecommunications/Electronics/Computer IT/Electrical and Two year full time MBA. For MTs in Telecome Finance - CA/ICWA/CS
Mode of Selection : All the candidates shall be screened based on Fulfillment of eligiblity criteria of age , qualification and work experience then undergo an Assessment Process comprising of Cognitive , Management aptitude and Technical section of 150 each marks. Shorted listed candidates will be called for GD and Personal Interview. Final selection shall be based on combined score of Assessment process having weightage of 45% , GD 12.5% and PI 12.5%.
Syllabus :
Management Aptitude : General Management , Management Information System , Managerial Economics , Marketing , Accounting and Finance , HRM ,OB , Strategic Management , Telecome Knowledge , Current events of national and international importance.
Cognitive Ability : Quantitative ability , Reasoning , Verbal ability Reading comprehension and analysis
Technical Knowledge : For Telecome Operation Stream - Material and components , signals and systems , Electronicmagnetic theory , Analog electronic circuits , Control system , Power Electronics , Physical electronics , network Theory , Electronic Measurement and Insturmentation , Digital Electronic Circuits , Communication system , and Computer Engineering
For Telecome Finance - Financial Management , Principal of Taxation , Companies Act1956 , Bare acts , Cost accounting , Advanced Accounting , Financial Statements , Auditing and FM in Public sector enterprises.
Probation Period : 52 weeks including the job training
Carrer Progression : After Successfull completion of Probation-cum-training period ,The Officer shall be appointed as Manager and after working as Manager for Two years he will be promoted as Asstt.General Manager(AGM)
Application Fee : Rs 1500/-is Payable in form of demand draft/Pay order drawn in favour of Senior Accounts Officer/Accounts Officer payable at respective station. (NO Fee For SC/ST/PH Candidates)
Last date of Receipt of Application : On or before 14/10/2009

How to Apply : Application in Precribed format along with four identical passport size photograph , two self addressed unstamped envelopes , Bank Draft of Rs 1500/- and Medical certificate should be sent by Registered Post/Speed Post to the respective DGM of the concerned circle. The envelope containing application form should be marked " Application For the Post Of MTs in BSNL" in bold letters on the top of envelope.
