APGVB invites Applications from Citizen of India of Andhra Pradesh for the posts given below. Detail is as under:

CLERICAL CADRE (Post Code: 1): Total Posts 150 (SC - 24; ST - 11; OBC - 40; GEN - 75) out of which PC - 5 (VI - 1; HI - 2; OC - 2) and EXSM - 22. Pay Scale: Rs. 4410 - 13210. Presently total emoluments are around Rs. 8205/- per month for graduates inclusive of DA and HRA at the current rates.

SC- Scheduled Castes, ST- Scheduled Tribe, OBC - Other Backward Classes, GEN- General, PC – Physically Challenged, VI-Visually Impaired, HI - Hearing Impaired, OC- Orthopedically Challenged, EXSM – Ex-Servicemen.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• NATIONALITY/ CITIZENSHIP: Must be a Citizen of India and should be a domicile of Andhra Pradesh.
• AGE (as on 1. 1. 2010): Minimum 18 years - Maximum 26 years (relaxation as per norms).

• EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (as on 1.1.2010):

A graduation degree from any recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent.
OR
A pass in Higher Secondary School examination of 10+2+3 pattern/ 11th standard of 11+3 pattern/ Pre-degree or intermediate or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ ST) marks in the aggregate.
OR
Diploma in Banking recognized by State or Central Govt. or Union Territory.
OR
Pass with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate in Matriculation/Senior school certificate (Old pattern) or equivalent.

AND

Proficiency in Telugu is essential and Knowledge of English and Computer will be given advantage.

APPLICATION FEE: Rs. 275 (Rs. 75 for SC/ ST/ PC/ EXS).

SELECTION PROCEDURE: Written Test and Interview.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

1. Download the Challan forms from the link given below. There are two type of Challan for payment. One is for State Bank of India Branches and other is for APGVB. Candidate can download any one of them and have to pay requisite fee in the branch of the bank which is in service location of those candidates.
2. On - line application system has been adopted by the bank. You have to click below for the on - line application. Fill the application form on - line carefully providing details given in the Challan. Remember the details and take a print out for future reference.

Last Date for Payment of Exam fee is 15th March 2010.
Last Date for On - line Application is 17th March 2010.
